Concentration and sensory processing improved with OT
…catering to our daughter’s individual needs… we have noticed a vast improvement…
Alana Walsh has been working with my 5-year-old daughter for several months after she was referred to her through a speech therapist and school teacher. Alana assists my daughter with her sensory processing, pencil grip, handwriting and concentration levels.
She is always professional and has worked with our daughter at our home and in the school environment.
Her enthusiastic personality and organised approach has meant that my daughter remains engaged during her sessions with Alana.
She always provides a range of occupational therapy activities, equipment ideas and information to help us cater for our daughter’s individual needs.
Alana communicates effectively between parents, teachers and speech therapists. We have noticed a vast improvement in our daughter’s pencil grip and ability to write her name and individual letters. Alana has also provided some useful ideas to help my daughter to maintain her concentration levels at home and within the classroom environment.
